Damage to the valve plate of a vacuum pump is also one of the common faults. In the case of oil bubbles continuously appearing in the oil window, even a large amount of oil tumbling, the vacuum is very low or the gauge pointer swings back and forth (commonly known as returning gas), which is mostly a valve problem.
For example, the old five-piece vacuum pump such as ZB-65 has a double-ballistic exhaust valve. It is not uncommon for the marble to run away from the cover plate or the screw loosening due to prolonged jumping. It should be checked regularly. If the valve cover has been punched out, the cover should be replaced if it is punched out. The steel plate valve piece is easy to be broken, the pressing screw is easy to loose or unevenly pressed, the oil rubber stripping cloth is easy to be deformed and damaged by the valve plate, and the spring of the large vacuum pump pressing the valve piece is easy to be broken. In case of these failures, only the replacement is needed. Valves, marbles and other parts can be used.
Of course, there are some problems with the valve. It is not easy to get rid of the fox. For example, there is a vacuum valve with a vacuum pump that is too high or low. It is difficult to check the situation like this, because the performance is not obvious, sometimes it is inter-sexual. According to experience, the vacuum pump chamber is deformed, local micro-leakage, oil seal film accidental damage, and valve failure can make the vacuum swing. Therefore, the end cap is first removed, the roundness taper of the vacuum pump chamber, the tolerance of the end face, the parallelism of the eccentric wheel, etc., and the results are not large, within the allowable range. After the assembly, the vacuum still oscillates, and it is suspected that the vacuum pump body is leaking, so it is painted several times with the shellac paint solution. After the test, the pump is still not carefully listened to the vacuum pump sound, and the valve beat sound is not too crisp. Slightly uneven, sometimes, it can be seen that several bubbles came out but the valve was not broken. After careful observation, it was found that the valve piece did not close the air outlet. Upon inspection, it was found that the angle of the valve plate was not correct after installation, that is, it was not parallel with the air outlet.
At this time, the valve plate pressure plate is fixed at a certain angle, and the valve plate is pressed by a spring, so that the vacuum degree is tested again, the needle is no longer oscillated, and the operation proves that it is indeed repaired.
This example is a bit special, indicating that the manufacturing problems will be reflected after a long time of use.
Pay attention to this part of the exhaust valve, and always check its working condition frequently because it often has various problems. In addition to the valve plate is easy to break, the valve plate is not tightened, not broken, the rod is loose, the compression nut is loose, the compression spring is broken, the marble is running away, etc., should be carefully checked.
