If the motor is overloaded for some reason, or even does not move, it is customary to call this phenomenon "catch-up". The vacuum pump is stuck because the spring is damaged and the rotating piece is not evenly loaded; improper assembly, To force a part; due to the loss or damage of the filter of the air inlet, external dirt, metal chips, glass shards, etc. fall into the pump cavity. In addition, the gap between the pump rotor, the end face of the rotary vane and the end cover is too small, the frictional heat causes the rotation of the rotary vane or overheating and the friction is too large, and the hardness of the rotary vane is too large, and the burrs are mutually milled, so that the end face is deeply scratched. Finally, the sintering is stuck. When the shaft and the sleeve are too tightly fitted, the slippery oil path is not smooth, and the pump is stuck to each other for a long time without being used, and the pump chamber is rusted; the pump is operated in a humid environment or the moisture is removed. Gas, causing the pump oil to become emulsion or pump oil scaling or even the viscosity of the crust pump oil is too large (winter); the rotor is cracked at the moment of start-up; some pumps have semi-circular grooves on the air passages of the high and low vacuum chambers. The pressed rubber plate is pressed too tightly, blocking the intermediate air passage and the like, and the pump is easily stuck. This kind of problem is often very dangerous, because at the moment of jamming, the motor is easily burned due to the rotor overloading or turning the motor. Even if you don't burn the motor, if you don't stop the repair, you will damage the pump cavity, damage the rotor, twist the rotor, burn the end face, etc., and the consequences are always very bad.

The jam always occurs between the rotor, the rotary vane and the end face or the middle partition or between the rotor and the pump chamber. These parts are the key parts that determine the ultimate pressure of a vacuum pump. Therefore, when a stuck phenomenon occurs, It is necessary to stop the pump urgently, eliminate the fault, and repair it properly. Never test the car or even dry it. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the whole pump to be scrapped and cannot be repaired.
