The scroll vacuum pump used in industries refers to the device or equipment that uses mechanical, physical, chemical or physical-chemical methods to extract air from the pumped container to obtain vacuum. It is evolved from scroll compressor, with simple structure and few parts, so it has small clearance, small leakage rate, high compression ratio and stable pumping speed in a wide pressure range.
The change of the volume in the compression chamber of the scroll vacuum pump used in industries is continuous, so the change of driving torque and power is small. It has low vibration noise, no cooling water and lubricating oil, simple maintenance and high reliability. Due to the characteristics of the scroll vacuum pump's own profile, the pumping speed of the pump shall not exceed 1000L/min.
